I have no doubt about how strong your feelings are right now but we can't always do something just because we feel strongly about it. If you REALLY love him you need to look at this situation from his end as well. Going with you will mean the end of his career. It might also mean jail time. He'll likely have to move to a new place. It's a pretty high price for him to pay.
And then there's you. Will your friends REALLY be accepting of this situation? Think carefully here.
Now for the good news. I'm not saying you can NEVER be with him. Only that you have to wait. Once you turn 18 AND graduate from high school (BOTH ARE NEEDED HERE!) you will no longer be his student and you will be an adult. It may seem like a long time, but true love is not measured in days. True love is measured in decades. In the end you will be glad you waited because you will be able to be with him in the open as an ADULT with no other ties to him. (Remember, not a student anymore.) So sorry, but it's cold showers for now, but your time will come. Just wait. Good luck.

Have you ever seen Dawson's Creek Season 1 where Pacey was dating Ms. Jacobs, his English teacher? In case you haven't, lets just say it didn't work out for the best, eventually the school board found out and prosecuted her, she got off but was so embarrassed she quit teaching and left town.
Do you want you teacher to leave the school or town? At least wait until you're eighteen (18) and have graduated high school coz at least then it's not illegal.

um how old are you and why are you looking at your teacher this way? hello girl are you on something? do you not watch the news? " HIGH SCHOOL TEACHER HAS AN AF FARE WITH UNDER AGE STUDENT"??????? your going to get into deep trouble, he'll get fired and put in jail if he so much as touches you if you two date each other then his name will be ever where and pple will know you as the hoe and your family will look at you like you are an outsider and you'll never be able to let this go you'LL regret it in the future.......

No you don't have to be with him....he is probably a great teacher, lots of fun and pays attention to you which is why you think you are in love with him. Stick to guys your own age and keep in mind this teacher is probably at least 20 years older and likely married with kids.

get over it sweetie - trust me. i had a crush on a teacher. started failing on my work just to stay behind and flirt with him. i even got jealous when he helped other girls.
but do you know what i did. i dropped his subject - and got over it.
otherwise it will start getting to much, and you will end up putting his job on the line. (and i dont just mean his job at your school/ college) i mean anywhere.

you're not in love with him becasue you're not and have never been (hopefully) with him. he's not for you trust me. and if he's making moves on you tell your parents or the police because it's illegal and just not right. if it's just you then resist the urge, as tough as that may be and find a boy your age to be with.

oh wow lucky teacher. If you are going to be with him then there is a risk on his job and you cannot be public about your relationship unless you are not a highschool student anymore.

So be with him. What's the point in posting this? If you like him-be with him. If your underage though you will have to visit him in prison and Big Bubba (the seven foot brother doing life) might make him his wife.
