Everything has its ups and downs
PS2- cheeper, better for all ages, but not a lot of new games or cool functions
Xbox 360-Better games,new games, more functions, but more expensive (but not much) and also still has some bugs in it and most games made for adults
(ALTHOUGH I THINK SOME GAMES SHOULD BE RATED LESS BECAUSE I"VE PLAYED GAMES MORE VIOLENT THEN HALO AND THEY ARE RATED T NOT M!!!!!!!!!!!)
It depends what age is playing it
If they can play all game ratings then XBOX 360 but if not then ps2
but if u ment ps3 instead of ps2 go for xbox bcuz ps3 is WAY overpriced and much more then Xbox

360 would have better performance but its newer so therefore its more expensive. but i always like the ps2 had it for a long time.
