Not sure if you can find it at the airport duty free shop, but Absinthe is legal throughout Europe. A few years ago, I bought some in Germany.

They still make and sell true Absinthe, with wormwood, according to the original formula. One example is La Fee Absinthe.

umm that airport doesn't always have it as it is bought quite frequently by people who want to try it after seeing it in movies. it is legal here though and that stuff is great. there are different versions of it though. some do not have the hallucigen effect

The stuff sold these days is not the absinthe of old, it does not have the hallucinogenic wormwood, all it is is green colored alcohol. Yes its legal in Holland.

Yes you can. We bought a couple of bottles in the airport store. I beleive this was after the security check gate.

Yes, it is. and yes you should be able to. It's even legal in the States. You can posses it and consume it, just can't purchase or sell it.
