hahahah, good luck buddy. (sorry I don't mean to laugh. Its just that I'm suffering here too, seems like the only solution is to take an Atlantic cruise and kill the lights)

London is a VERY VERY bright city.

light pollution maps of the UK show one of the darkest places in the West of London are the runways at Heathrow Airport. However considerable light pollution is visible from the terminals.

Note the M25, Dark Runways at Heathrow and Gatwick Airport to the South.

also try the m3 near Winchester, still most areas in the entire south side of the country show large amounts of light diffusion in the atmosphere.

Unfortunately, the London Planetarium close over a year ago to make more room for Madame Tussaud's waxworks. I doubt that you can see stars from anywhere in Greater London because of light pollution.

Anywhere there aren`t any clouds blocking the view!!! lol.seriously though,if your talking about the variety in the sky..try a park.Open spaces seem to be the best spots.The outskirts rather than in the middle of....

Hardly anywhere there is far too much light pollution, you'd have to travel a long way out of the centre before you found a suitable view point.

I'd suggest Yorkshire

richmond park. right in the middle. lie on the ground. must be a clear night...failing that and you have time-Lincoln. Ab beautiful.
