Well, it'd depend on the reasons obviously!
If it's medical and only temporary, then you wait, and cuddle, and do other things!! As when you're just dating and don't want to go too fast!
Now, if it's not going to get solved, you need to talk to your partner about rethinking the relationship.
I can't imagine you'd want to remain married and sleep around with your partner's consent!
Well, your partner is still the best person to discuss that with, your different options and what your marrital vows mean to you!
Good luck.

*This really depends on what is happening here. For example my friend who is married went a year without sex untill they found out that the medication his wife was on killed her sex drive. She switched and they got back to normal.

*The second thing and I see this as bigger is two people are not communicating their needs, and are NOT listening carefully to what their partner needs. I started studying the art of Tantric sex. As it is very based on love appreciation respect and soft sensuality. It helped improve my sex life a lot! As it make women feel more supported during sex and thus more open. It is quite beautiful. :) (don't give up till you try a few different things)
good luck

I was married and didn't have sex for 3 and a half years, even though I was mad about my husband. That's how I figured out he had someone else. He'd left me while we were still living in the same house.

That's definitely not the only reason for loss of interest in sex; you should talk to your wife and seek competent counseling.

Really don't know. Married 23 years and its never been more than a couple of weeks, except on doctors orders (bleeding while pregnant).
Don't know what I'd do if he just chose not to. But if it was medical, I would do my best to understand. After all I didn't marry him just for the sex, and its not all we have.

Depends on the reason. Is one of you ill? Has there been a death in the family and one of you is suffering from depression? Have you been having an extramarital affair? Have you gained 80 lbs? I would definitely ASK YOUR SPOUSE why. Can't believe you don't already know the reason, though.

Don't you want to know why from your spouse?
Are you a jerk all day until you get to bed? Do you help around the house so that she is not worn out for loving?
Do you have kids together? That's an automatic love killer.
Ask her what you can do to help her out.

Love starts in the kitchen.

First, I would be asking my husband/wife what the problem is, and why they don't want to have sex. Talking to your spouse works wonders in a marriage. I promise.

cannot imagine this kind of situation. If you do not have sex ten sth is definitely going wrong in your relationship. Have you tried discussing it. I know some people you who cheat on their wifes and husbands saying that sex is too important to be neglected because of silly misunderstandings or...whatever you call it. What do you want to do about this\?

If I didn't have kids I would haven't gotten divorced way before 6 months or I would just have sex with my mistress 5 times a week like every other man.
