H2O is NOT an element; it's a molecule. Try methane, CH4, which has a tetrahedral shape with an "H" at each of the four corners and the "C" in the middle. It should stand by itself.

H2O is not an element -- it is a compound, Any diatomic or triatomic molecule could be modeled easily enough.

If you're going with molecule, I'd say CO2 or any other linear molecule

H2, N2, O2, Cl2, Br2, CO2. They are all linear molecules
