It's a waste of time thinking about what other people have. You can only control yourself. Have specific goals, make a detailed plan. Follow your plan. If it doesn't work... try another plan. Be determined, work hard, be positive. Accept criticism, take responsibility & never "blame others" or things for your lack of success.
Read as much as you can (self improvement, etc.).

Why should I envy someone who has more money than I? The love of money is the root of all evil .I have to be pleased with my success,if any. As a youngster, caddying for golfers, my goal was to someday be a member at a country club. Never had any aspirations for wealth. After time in the service went to college on GI bill. Money was never a focal point. A family came along and the goal was to provide for them. During this time worked toward their welfare and with a great manager( my wife )managed to save for part of their education. Invested these funds well, which enabled us to invest in a private enterprise with brothers-in-law . This not only paid for education but provided for retirement as well.

No, because I don't envy what other people have. As long as they are earning what they have and not just taking it from other people, they are entitled to what they earn.
Some people will always have more then you do, and a whole lot more people will have less. To the homeless, you're rich. To people in third-world countries, you're the equivalent of a billionaire. Would you want them to be sickened by you?

No! I don't base my financial success on how I compare to others. The money isn't mine to begin with; it all belongs to God.
