Ok well i am 16 and from preschool-8th grade i went to the same school and in 7th-8th grade i had the same group of 10 friends..we were all really close. we were the "popular people". then in 9th grade i switched schools and moved to a new town and i quickly made 1 really close friend. but she recently ditched me a couple months ago for this new girl and also a bigger group of friends. also this girl i knew a long time that goes to my school like hates me now for no reason and is a total B**** and she never wants me around. i think i may be too mature for these people and do not have the same interests as them anymore b/c i have no interest in getting popular or anything like that because at my highschool that involves drugs and sex and i don't want any of that stuff now. so what should i do?? even the really weird people at my school so to speak have friends. but now im a loner what should i do? i am in 11th grade right now. how am i gonna survive? WHY are my friends being such B****

At this point, you need to find a group of friends who share your interests. Your former friends sense that you're not really interested in them either. I'd suggest that you join a club or a team. In a short time you'll be sharing ideas with others and have new friends. Also, if you're good at a particular subject, you might tell the guidance counselor that you can tutor in that subject. This will also put you in contact with other people. Good luck. Stay positive and things will change.

Not everyone in the world will like you. But, something that will help you is, hang out with the nerds. Then, you will start to make new friends. You should do eveything possible to keep in touch. You will survive! Especially in college for sure. But 3 years to go is a long time. Your friends are two-faced and think abou the generation live in. Suicide, wrist cutting, self violence, sex, drugs. It's messed up! But, you can't change the world. It's how it is. Police officers, WHAT ARE THEY DOING THESE DAYS?
