Society is better than before, but there's still a lot of discrimination. A movie theatre closed in my city because they guy wouldn't let black people in. I am asian and I used to feel racism all the time. Now, not so much, but I think that's because my classmates are more mature than most high schoolers.

It is improving in the sense that discriminatio is being dealt with legally. That is to say, discrimination in regards to hiring/firing employees, denying someone a service, treating people differently based on race, creed, etc is illegal. However, the idea of discrimination will never go away. As long as there as 'groups' that are different from each other one group, whether different by race, religion, whatever, will have a feeling of superiority. It may be completely wrong and unjustified, but it will always be that way.

I don't think that anything is happening right now in terms of discrimination. Slowly, minorities are gaining power and respect, but I don't believe that the world will completely accept minorities for a long time.

I would like to think so. There is still alot of room for improvement, but I think that as people become more educated, they become more tolerant of others who are not like them. Education is the key, if we can ever manage to create a truly intelligent society, we will do away with discrimination.

our world was equal for a little while, then minorities figured out that they can wave the race and discrimination flag for pretty much everything. and now they have the upper hand in every situation. and the world is also starting to shift towards discriminating against white people. yet strangely, they arent crying about it.

YES
Just because it is not happening over night does mean that it is not happening.
For all of you younger people your parents and grandparents lived in a much more discriminating time!!
I know because I lived then and saw all the changes taking place just as they did.
