This is way cool, and I DO know it's not the game section - I just wanted to share it with some of you. I did it, and it's true for me anyway, but I can't share just yet because I don't want to influence you. Also, if you decide to do it, DON"T look at what others answered. I will tell you what it all means, and I will tell you what I said as well, but later. I'll just say this - it will help you understand some things in your life...

You are walking on a path through a forest. What is the path like? You find a key - what does it look like? What do you do with it? You encounter a bear. Tell me about the bear and if or how you part with it. You see a body of water - what is it? Give me a few words to describe it. You see a house. Describe it. You arrive at an obstacle. What is it and how do you get on the other side? Once on the other side, what do you see?

I'll tell you what I said -
path - cobblestone like, with grass growing through stones
key - old, worn out
water - river, refreshing
bear - cub... i leave so his momma won't come looking for him (this was really interesting for me...)

obstacle - brick wall... (also interesting for me)
other side - waterfalls - i love waterfalls...

remember that if you answered to just kinda make fun, you can always do this in a meditation type way to see with your mind's eye exactly what images pop up... then, you can interpret it as i will show you

Damp, dark packed earth, surrounded by wet sclerophyl rainforest - tall ferns up close, most trees set back a little. The path is about 3' wide and winds around the landscape, skirting large rocks and a few of the larger trees. The sunlight is tinted green and dappled by the overhead canopy. Birds dodge the overhead branches as they fly between the trees, and hidden animals can be heard scurrying throught he undergrowth.

The key is an old-fashioned skeleton key. It's made of brass, but it's still a little shiny - at least, it hasn't turned green yet. I put it in my pocket - more out of curiosity than any expectation of finding a use for it.

I stay back behind some undergrowth to observe the bear, the poise and strength in its movements. It's coat dark brown and glossy. Not wishing to disturb it, I watch in silence, hidden, until it ambles past on its way to...who knows? I wait until it's beyond hearing, then move on.

The water is a small, secluded bay book-ended by rocky, bouldered promontories. The bay itself is sandy, with a little beach sand. There is some surf, and the sound of more coming from around the headlands. The water is deep blue. The air carries the salt tang of the ocean.

The house seems to be built into the face of a steep hill, surrounded by lush vegetation. A verandah covers the rear of the house, supported by tall pylons, the bottoms hidden in the undergrowth. The walls are painted a deep red-brown, and there are large picture windows looking out over the porch and into the valley below. There is no visible access to the house from here, except for a long set of narrow steps leading up to the verandah. Easier access is presumed to be at the front of the house, currently hidden from my view.

There is a creek in the way, and I can go forwards no further. I turn and start upstream, looking for a place where the creek is small enough to cross, or for some convenient boulders to use as stepping stones. A few miles up, I see the creek burbling as it exits a narrow valley, the creekbed filled with tumbled boulders. I scramble up the nearest, then look to see my next step. After a few false starts and dead ends, I find a way to jump from rock to rock, and eventually down to the earth on the opposite bank.

Over here, the trees and undergrowth are not so thick. There are patches of close-cropped grass amongst the trees, and the path widens somewhat. The ground here is flatter, the trees shorter, and the wildlife more visible.

EDIT: Not sure when the "game" part will start...so far, it seems like an exercise in imagination and descriptive vocabulary. Still fun, just wondering what happens next.

EDIT: Nope, aquarius (cusp capricorn.)

EDIT: Thank you, Sex Fairy! Great game - got any more?

The path is a dirt path, worn down by many travelers. I found a key that is small and probably goes to a journal or music box. I put it in my pocket so I can help find the owner. I see the bear, he is just looking for water so I stand really still until he passes and I continue down the path. I see a lake in the distance. It looks calm and peaceful. On the other side is a house. It is tall and homey. I see a fence. It is black and iron railed. The gate is unlocked so I just push it open and walk through. On the other side is a garden that has every type of flower and fruit tree imaginable. The air smells fresh and the sun is shining bright. I was a good day! :)

The path is full of fallen leaves,
The key I find is very small and silver,
The bear is Yogi Bear and he gives me further directions and, for some reason, an inflatable boat.
The water is a fast flowing river at the bottom of a ravine. I use the boat, but it fails to inflate (faint cartoon bear laughter echoes)...
There is a house at the other side of the river,
Further down there is a dangerous-looking rope bridge. It collapses when I'm halfway, but luckily the dinghy inflates and cushions my fall against the rocks. I climb up. up, up,
I reach the house exhausted and step inside. I am immediately seized by two men and handcuffed to a radiator. The men steal my credit cards and I realize the key is to the handcuffs, but I put in into my zipper pocket for safekeeping and now I can't reach it!

The director says: 'Cut!'

[edit] Horrifying that afterlife for me is chained to a radiator even when I have the key to escape. Although in my version God has a crony and he's a petty criminal! Good game.

I'm walking through an old overgrown forest. I have heard incredible tales of this forest when I was a young child. Villagers whispered that this forest was enchanted. There is no path, so I create my own as I go along- moving away branches, and leaves and rocks, clearing the path as I go. As I roll away a small grey boulder in front of me, the sun catches something shiny and metallic on the ground. I reach down and pick it up. It's a key! I examine the key. It's shiny but it's old, it's a skeleton key. I wonder what it could be for, and why I found it here. I slip the key into my pocket and continue on my way. I hear a rustling noise in the bushes nearby. I look over, and I see a brown baby bear! It's all by itself. It's very small, and I am not afraid of it. I move toward the bear to get a closer look, but then I remember: baby bears have a mother nearby! So taking one last look over my shoulder at the baby bear, I continue on my way. A little quicker than before. My ears strain to hear any unusual sounds coming from the forest. Off in the distance I hear the sound of rushing water. I make my way closer to the sound. Finally I encounter a riverbank, and looking down the slope I see a glistening river...looking down the river I see a waterfall. It's all very beautiful. I see salmon jumping upstream. I decide to walk along the riverbank. I come upon a very large house. It looks like wealthy people must have lived there long, long ago. It has three stories, and many rooms. It is mysterious to see a house like this out in the middle of nowhere. I am drawn to investigate it further. The house is very, very old. It looks abandoned. My curiosity is great. I wander closer to the house, looking for a door. The house has been covered by an abundance of ivy. It's hard to find a door, but I feel along the front of the house until I find a doorknob. I try turning the knob, but it won't open. It appears to be locked! Suddenly I remember the key in my pocket. Could it be? I take out the key, and put it into the keyhole. It fits! Unbelievable. I turn the key, and the heavy wooden door slowly swings open with a long creak. I step inside, and what do I see? Nothing. It's completely dark. (lol!) I remember I have a package of matches in my pocket, so I pull them out and carefully struck a match and lit it. There was not much light that came from this match, but there was enough light to see the old and dusty furniture in the room. There was a couch, and a chair, a fireplace, and a table, and much more...and all of these things looked to be built for something much smaller than human beings. Indeed, it looked as if the entire room had been built for someone the size of a very small child. And it looked to me like no one had lived here for many, many years. I was quite confused by what I saw, and eager to explore the house further.

EDIT: who gave me a thumbs-down? LOL!

EDIT: Sex Fairy: seems you and I have a few details in common in our stories...the baby bear, the waterfall, the key being old...taking the key with you...I wonder what this all means?

The path is twisty and narrow. The key is one of those old-fashioned ones with two little teeth and an intricate pattern on top. The bear is a grizzly who is oddly friendly. We part after I invite him to join us on GWS. I come to a pond. The water is clear, with a few ducks swimming in it, and a turtle at the edge. The house is a tiny thatched cottage. The obstacle is a large boulder that I walk around. On the other side, I see a highway.

Hi. I am Arie. I am a brave druid adventurer and I'm going on a long journey with my trusty steed Rastyl. I am just coming back from a truly brutal battle with a black dragon. It's nearly winter and I'm sure there will be many more cold days ahead of me. I better get moving for it soon will be dark. I feel a sense urgency as I walk along the forest path. I take a deep breath of the crisp fresh air and push forward. The leaves have exposed their beauty to me, rich hues of plum, green, gold, orange and red. I better watch my step though this rough rocky terrain, it is challenging and one mistep could bring my body crashing down to the ground on the jagged rocks . I deftly maneuver my way down the path where there is a patch of muddy soil. I smell the rich soil of the earth. (Mmm it smells so good!)

My my senses are tingling. I yearn to touch the soil with my hands. As my fingers slide into the rich earth, it feels cool and moist, I brush a cold metallic object with my fingertips. I am curious. I plunge my hand farther into the dirt and I pull it out an ancient golden key. I don't know what the key belongs to but it intrigues me nevertheless. The sunlight glints off the surface of the key and momentarily blinds me. I clear my vision, brush off the mud and examine it. It has markings etched into the face of the key, in a language that I do not understand. I tuck the key into my satchel for later and continue on my journey. The path makes an unexpected turn to the right. Down the grassy hill I see over grown courtyard. The old gray stone church building seems to match the age of the key. I am enchanted with the place. It feels spiritual and relevant.

Over the church, I look to the clouds in the sky. The clouds form an image of a strong, alluring, white, bear. It's right paw is raised as a greeting. I feel drawn to him. I can't look away. His face is friendly and his presence is strong. In his presence my body feels strong. Yet he says not a word to me. I wonder why he doesn't speak to me. My eyes wander to other side of the courtyard and there is a babbling brook lined with many trees. I am momentarily distracted from the mysterious bear. When I look back he is gone. My eyes search the skies but the clouds are no longer there. Just a wisp of the misty clouds remain.

Solid and respectable house.
Climb mountain.
Sun rise.

Path: sightly covered with leaves with trees at both sides.
Key: Looks small and shiny.
Bear: I catch some salmon from a nearby river for bait it, and lure it into a deadly trap made with sharp branches. Dead bear.
Water: Looks clear and refreshing but I save it for a real important ocassion.
House: Looks rustic but I peek and seems comfortable and warm inside. I try to open the door with the key, and "Ah!" it fits.
Obstacle: And apparently impassable entanglement of branches and bushes. Time to pull out the sword and calmly move on.
Other side: Nothing, I don't believe in that.

1. the path is cobble stone and has lots of greenery around it. lots of flowers and little bits of grass coming up from between the stones.

2. the key is very old fashioned, big and has a heart on it. i put in on a string around my neck.

3. the bear is a baby cub. it follows me and is very sweet. it does not leave.

4. the water is the ocean. it has lots of waves and a very big, sandy beach in front. i can see the sun coming up behind it.

5. the house is like a big doll house. it is yellow, with a picket fence. it has a small garden and sun flowers. it's pretty small, but comfortable.

6. it's the picket fence. i use the key and unlock the fence's door.

7. on the other side, i see the house, a cozy swing, a pretty garden and my family.

EDIT: haha...funny. so, I love women..your love life is small with deadly creatures in it? ouch! does that mean you attract girls with STDS? JK!

this is a neat game, but i'm sure it doesn't apply to all of us. but i do tend to bring my problems along with me wherever i go....

Water: A medium sized lake.
House: A wooden cabin (but not a log cabin).
