Maybe, I mean if Obama is supposedly a jihadist Muslim because he attended a secular, public school in Indonesia whose students and staff just so happened to be primarily Muslims for two years, then maybe Bush is also a Muslim!

Good grief. It was probably just an outreach effort on his part. As I recall, there were sporadic incidences of violence against Muslims just after 9/11. This was just a way to calm some nerves.
