Sir Isaac newton discovered GRAVITY, which began a whole new age of science during the renaissance. He basically opened the door to how people started thinking differently about HOW the Universe and it's celestial bodies worked.

Sir Isaac Newton was considered a "triple threat" in his day, he was one of the top Mathematicians, an astronomer, and a physicist who dabbled in philosophy.
