A cheating question.....Have you ever cheated and regret it? Be honest?

I cheated on my first husband 11 years ago but not sexual but it is still cheating in God's eyes. That's not ruined my marriage. I left him due to major control issues. But I would never do it again. The guilt is horrible.

I mean like cheating with your husband, wife, b/f or g/f?

I am asking ones who have cheated.

Before I took God in my life as my Lord and savior I didn't know the Lord. It says in God's eyes it is a big sin. It's in the Bible. The book of life "space cadet". I can see you don't know God because if you did you wouldn't of said a stupid answer.

Nancy I know how you feel with your first husband. My first was not a good man and very mean. My affair was friendship because this guy really cared about me. The one thing I do is be honest with any man I am with. I don't hide secrets especially if we are serious. I don't want it to haunt me later. I pray it won't with you. I really do feel that it will come out in the open and it may make things worse in the long run. I know from experiance. Honesty is the #1 thing in a marriage and communitcation. I mean past is the past and you have learned from it. I know I did.

Pamela, I am also celibate for 5 years and plan to be until I marry again for the last time.

I did cheat on my first husband and I will never regret it. I had went through alot with my ex and he just did not care about making the marriage work. The man that I was seeing made me feel better than I had felt in years and I finally had something to laugh about. I did finally get divorced and then I was able to see the guy. He had wanted to marry me but I couldn't because he had too many problems. My boyfriend passed away in 2002 and I still love and miss him. I did get married again and I can not tell my husband because he does not approve of cheating.

I cheated in a previous relationship...because I was grossly misinformed by a mutual "friend" that my guy was cheating on me. So, it was more or less a "revenge f*ck"...I left the guy I was with. I only saw the other person 2x after that....turns out that I was never really cheated on...so I lost a good relationship because I thought the other guy's grass was greener.

I didn't know you can see through God's eyes. Very interesting. Can you change the past? The guilt is most likely because when you "cheated" you wanted to and found an excuse to do it. That's where you guilt lies. Don't do it again. That is more than enough. Accept it, but don't kid yourself about why you really did it. Good luck

I have never cheated but have been cheated on. I told him as long as he was with me he would never know the feeling of what i felt of his infidelity. i left him before, came back and now i regret it cuz my life would've been a lot better by now without him.
