Bill Richardson. He's the only viable one out of the bunch that won't have the negative vote thing going. Hillary and Obama both have a significant portion of the electorate who will vote Republican just because they are the Democratic candidate.
That would include me, but I would definitely consider voting for Richardson. He was a good Secretary of Energy and he's done a pretty good job as Governor of New Mexico.

I think Obama is the only one who stands a chance against the Republicans. A Clinton win is just handing the white house back to the GOP because too many people just don't like her, including people from her own party. If GWB was running again, she could probably take him down, but none of the new guys the GOP has running.
Obama, although a newbie on the field, has the advantage of playing the "vote for change" game. And that is what a lot of people, including republicans, are looking for. Hillary Clinton shouldn't be bragging so much about how much experience she has in Washington. Experience, to me, translates to "more of the same."
P.S. To the people shouting out names like "Bill Richardson" and "Mike Gravel," give me a break! Mike who? Nobody knows who these people are, and furthermore, nobody cares. If you want to hand the GOP the presidency, the second best way is to nominate someone with no chance.

Obama. Democrats would be foolish to select Hillary, since she would divide the nation enough to cause problems with her ability to lead.
Edwards lost before with Kerry, Don't think the dems want someone with that kind of record.
I think we have some good candidates, like Romney, Thompson & Huckabee, but if Obama doesn't screw up and say something ultra-leftwingish, he would get quite a few Republicans to swing his way.
We need someone who can unite the country, not divide. Hillary & Edwards are just way too far to the left.
Really, I think if the Democratic party would have chose Lieberman instead of Kerry, you would have defeated George W. But instead, your party chose to go all the way to the left. Bad move. Lets see what you do this time. I predict your party will pick Hillary though.

Hillary will be tough. I am republican and hate to say it she is a tough opponent. She knows the game well, and has a lot of support. However, if a Democrat was to win I would like Obama. And he could be a hard opponent as well. He appeals to many young voters, which will make this election interesting. Because now candidates will have to reach out to m ore people, especially the younger generations. Also, Obama has the fact that he voted against the war working in his favor. I support the war, but alot of the country doesn't so this will work to his advantage. But frankly he is a new face, and it seems people want change. They may think his youthfulness, and lac of experience (According to Hillary and opponets) may work in his favor.

Hillary-hands down.
No matter how unappealing she is to most of us, most moderate democrats prefer her, because Obama is too liberal and inexperienced (like she's not? go figure). Plus There are way too many people who wouldn't vote for him simply because he's black or his name rhymes with "Osama" And as far as Oprah goes, most black women I know consider Hillary a hero- in fact I usually see most ofObama's support coming from the tree huggers. The other candidates aren't popular enough to compete.
Giuliani is the only hope for GOP. I'm a moderate but I'm voting for him, even though the trend is "we don't need another republican in office". If the GOP pocks some one too far right, primarily a conservative Christian, then many swing votes and moderates will go to Hillary simply because of her first lady- Bill. And yes, I would follow, unless they choose Romney.

Of the three top choices I think all of them would give us a run for our money but I think Obama probably would be the hardest for us to defeat at this point (even some Republicans like the guy).
It would be a much more difficult strategy to beat him than with either of the other two (Hillary or Edwards).
Obama, may win Iowa, showing evidence that he could potentially win anywhere. How that would translate to a general election is uncertain but I think he would be quite formidable.
I am hoping you guys pick Hillary and that we don't go with Huckabee or McCain....that way we will get a Republican President. :)

Obama. He has a fresh perspective and a likable personality. I actually hope it's Clinton that's nominated since I know a lot of people that will vote against her and they are not only Republicans but Democratic voters as well.

Green is my favorite color. You're green with envy. You didn't vote republican. Dems like to say that to give their weak argument more force. I really hope hillary runs, she starts off with many negatives. she is disliked by both Dems and Reps. who wants to see another Clinton or Bush in the white house? Are there only two families that can run this country?

Clinton is too polarizing to win in '08. One of her campaign handlers said many GOP women would cross over and vote for her because she is a woman. I don't know what Kool-Aid that person is drinking but he is dead wrong.
Obama would get the black vote, but then again, blacks in large numbers usually vote Democrat anyway. But he is way too inexperienced for many.
Edwards is a sissy boy joke.
I don't know. Clinton or Obama. I can't choose who would be the best Dem candidate.

If their are a lot of stupid people voting that year than yes.
U see when Democrats start wars they will never end them. Rupublicans will end the war within to presidents run. In Veinam their was a demcrat that started that war and after 3 democrat presidents had their ran a Republican came in and ended the war.
