It's possible with a well equipped shop and enough money, but it isn't practical. Sell what you don't want, and buy what you do want, you'll be ahead.
Different flywheel, different bell housing, different transmission, different mounts for said transmission, clutch pedal, all the linkage, slave cylinder, clutch, pressure place, thrust bearing, throw out bearing, shift linkage, etc. The list will go on.

If Larry M thinks it's cheap let him try it. Going from a standard to an auto isn't too bad but the auto to standard is a real pain. First off your car has no clutch pedal and no linkage. These will have to be obtained and installed. Since the brake and clutch are usually on the same shaft that means the brake pedal has to come out for the change. You'll probably have to purchase a wrecked standard to get all the parts. Besides the pedals and linkage you'll need the flywheel, clutch disk, pressure plate, throw out and pilot bearings, bell housing, cross member and trans mount, drive shaft, rear end gears and more. The cost of the parts won't be near as bad as the labor. $5k and up sounds about right and then you have a car which doesn't match the description on the title which mkes it worth a lot less than before. Not a good idea.

Why do dumb *** kids answer the question if they don't know the answer? They need to be slapped!!! Anyways you will need the clutch assembly and you will have to cut a hole in the floor board to install the cable and if I'm not mistaken there will be an indentation in the metal to show you where the cable goes. You will need the shifter assembly, most likely a different cable for it to the trans. You might come across some different sensors but most are interchangeable. Your best bet is to find one at a junkyard that has been wrecked or one the has a lot of miles on it and get it rebuilt.

I have an eclipse. While I agree the manual is waaaaayyyyyy better, (I've driven both), the cost and aggravation would not be worth it. Sell the auto and buy a stick, put the cost savings into better rims or a system.

and if it's a hydro tranny I think you can hook it up to the brake cylinders
And I think it's better to use a manual ecu as well
But not sure about mitsu, I'm a honda man

thats going to be a royal pain. the hours and the time!!! your best bet is to get a sealed clutch system to save alot of headaches, but youll also need the tranny, cables, shifter, and an unlimited ammount of patience. i did it to a 95 eclipse, and actually had to swap the computer too.

FOR STARTERS, A TRANSMISSION, SHIFTER, CLUTCH, PRESSURE PLATE, THROW OUT BEARING, BELL HOUSING, CLUTCH PEDAL, RETURN SPRINGS. A BELL CRANK, WELDED TO THE FRAME FOR PIVOTING OF THE PEDAL TO THE CLUTCH, RETURN SPRING FOR THE BELL CRANK, AND MONEY.
