I am American, and we used to be able to watch Australian Football on one of our sports channels, but I can no longer find it. If there is a Carlton team, will someone let me know how they are doing.

yes there is still a carlton footy team &they just recruited some of the best new talent , but they wont win the 2008 premiership go the lions

Contact the Carlton football club in Carlton Melbourne, and get them to send you an e-mail every week in the form of a newsletter, I'm sure that they will oblige. this way you will be kept up to date on all the pre-season training, recruits, supporters, and gossip in general.
Carlton are also called the "Blues"
The president is one of Australia's richest men (Richard Pratt of Visyboard fame, recycled paper)who has supplied Carlton with Millions of $$$$s.
Anyway, you can get all the info you want, if you chase up the on-line newsletter. Cheers.

yeah there is still a carlton football club the bastards stole our best player ( the west coast eagles captain chris judd) been a pretty sad footy team the last couple of years but i think juddy will help pick up there game. if you want any information bout aussie rules just check out the official website it has links to all the clubs and with latest news.

Yeah, unfortunately they are still around, but not doing so well
*tries hard not to smirk* :P
They have had a few dramas with John Elliot ruining the club and nearly sending them broke.
The current president is sending himself broke with being found guilty of price fixing and being sued.
On the upside for the club, they have recruited the #1 player of the league and an all round super star.
Check back in a few years and maybe they might have improved from dominating the bottom of the ladder (kidding!)

There not doing very well actually.
They ended up on the bottom this year,The Wooden Spooners.
But watch out for the 2008 season.
They have recruited former West Coast Captain Chris Judd.
Hopefully he will lift their game.
Time will tell.

cutemums hat must be on to tight, the spoon went to richmond
a few new players in 2008 so maybe a few wins, but in general i am not expecting much in 2008
