antibiotics don't skip your period, but, what I might suggest is there are several other factors that govern when, and in this case, if you have a period. Perhaps a factor in your life might be to blame. Also, it might be worth waiting a few weeks, as a pregnancy test will be more certain then.

Many things can delay your menstrual period, including taking antibiotics cause lets think about this logically you are puttin something within your body which is artificial so it is bound to mess up your natural cycle of your body, but if this is concerning you i suggest you speak to a health proffesional but from what i can gather yes it would, but so can many other thing's such as pregnancy, stressing out, change in diet, lack of sleep. Basically anythin as it is very delicate piece of equipment i hope you will find reassurance from what i am tellin you and if anything else is worryin you please speak to a health proffesional because lets confess most people on here are NOT doctors
Best wishes

This happened to me out of the blue last month. No period, then the next one was extra heavy. It's never happened before. Stress can do it, I hear. If you're worried, a blood pregnancy test can be more accurate. Good luck.

If you are sick enough, your period can be delayed because your body focuses its energy on getting well. I don't know why you are on antibiotics, but with a lot of other things going on in your body-sickness, new drugs--it wouldn't be that strange for your period to be late.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/JcqX2
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

Antibiotics reduce the affects of birth control pills.
I don't really think they delay a period.
Maybe the sickness you had did though.

antibiotics are unlikely to delay your period, but having an infection could (I'm assuming you have an infection since you're on antibiotics).

Not necessarily, but the illness that you are on the antibiotic for can. Antibiotics can cause birth control pills to not be effective.
