Wouldn't he just pull the troops out of the middle east and shut down our supply from there and then he could sell his oil for any price he wanted? Is he really thinking only of himself and getting rich by keeping oil flowing in from the middle east (his competition)?? He could, theoretically, corner the market on oil and make more money than god. You should be more upset with the big international companies making record profits quarter after quarter while claiming that it is not cost effective to produce gasoline and other fuels. If it is that way, why the huge profits?

I fully support President Bush and his Middle East policies. I just wish the government would step up the price control that the big oil companies keep driving up. We are headed for another huge recession like what happened in the 80's (which was NOT President Reagan's fault). People need to understand that the President is only a small part of what goes on in the government and that most of the problems are risen from the House and Senate. Look more closely at your state representatives and senators, because they are the ones sending this country to hell in a handbasket. They add riders to bills sending funds to things like greenhouse gasses emitted by cows and studying the mating of moths. Do we REALLY need to know how moths do the nasty? And if we do, does it REALLY cost 3.2 million dollars to find out? 3.2 million could pay for a lot of healthcare in this country, well, at least some, the insurance companies are even worse than the government & big oil, but I won't go there

Because if he pulls the troops out and starts making the money without the excuse that the troops are there for a better Iraq, we will all know for sure, he will be declaring that he only killed Sadam because he wanted Sadam's fortune. And don't missunderstand me, I am partly Kurdish, my 3 times great grandparents were and I still have family member who are Kurdish (of course) and hate the things Sadam did to the Kurdish, so!

Iraq and the rest of the Middle East have massive oil reserves that will provide significant riches to whoever is finally able to claim ownership. The U.S. ruling elite are drooling over the potential that imperialist war will leave them in the driver's seat.

Furthermore, Iraq is not just about stealing oil, rather it is also about the U.S. placing military bases in key, strategic locations in order to fend off other capitalist rivals -- especially China and Russia.

Here is an article that I recently read that does a nice job of dissecting current world events.

Iran: Why does Bush invoke the threat of World War III?
Part 1: Iran’s strategic position
Part 2: Eurasian geopolitics and US threats against Iran
Part 3: Globalization, Iran, and the dollar crisis

No cause hes already making big profits from the oil in Iraq and if he pulls the troops out no one will be protecting his oil. With the troops there he can make it look like were there to help the Iraq people. If we pull the troops out no more oil for him and the oil companies. Were paying for Iraq oil right now thats why gas prices are so high, they have to take it from Iraq and then bring it back to American to sell to us . No he saving his Oil in America for after he sucks Iraq and the middle east dry. He could sell us his Texas or Alaska oil ,but hes better off taking it from Iraq he makes more and get it frees. Just my opinion

He doesn't have any oil wells. You must be fabricating your info. You do not see people constantly making fun of the presidents during the Vietnam era. Why should you start? Freedom of speech should only apply to people with at least the sense of comprehension.
I am tired of people complaining about him, he is our president and we should support him. And don't with this global warming/homosexual crap. The both of them aren't natural and are just fabrications of the mind.
And the president isn't allowed to own anything that he can affect during his job. That is why Dick Cheney had to sell all of his halliburton stock before he became vice president.
Please get your facts straight.

Bush doesn't rule the world you know. America needs to stop robbing oil, I agree. But you have to escape the "blame Bush" mentallity. He's one of many.

I wouldn't worry too much about Bush's ability to make money. He's doing just fine.
