Hi. For school, I am doing a project on Native Americans. We have to do a project on tobacco, and the things they smoked it out of. My friend though it would be a good idea to buy a pipe, but I am only 13. In Ohio, is there a certain age you have to be to buy pipes?

You will have to get your parents to buy a tobacco pipe for you. You have to be 18 to buy a pipe.

i would guess so, since most people smoke out of a pipe and you need to be 18 to smoke
Ask your parents to get one at a store

First of all, it sounds questionable that a school would encourage a project that would use drug accessories. If it is a legitimate project though, why not make one yourself. I'm not talking about an actual usable pipe though. You could make one out of a pen shaft and paper to replicate a pipe. i would suggest looking at pictures of what they look like. You could paint it to make it look more realistic. If you get caught with a real pipe at school or by the police, you could get into real trouble.
