By stopping illegal aliens.

1. Be legal immigrants, or better yet, citizens.

2. Learn English. We say US. Most people don't understand EEUU as the abbreviation for "estados unidos".

3. Assimilate into our culture.

4. Earn a living. Don't feed off the government.

5. Encourage your friends and relatives to immigrate legally.

6. Respect the laws of the land.

If you can do all this you're already well on your way to making America a better place. If you can also get involved with a political campaign that encourages this behavior in others, than America will truly be better for you having come here.

The following recommendations are based on the assumtion that you are talking about American citizens of Mexican descent, since it is impossible (as we've seen in the last few months) for undocumented Mexicans to play ANY role in politics:

Lets begin by trying to understand and accept how symbolic American people are. They don't like us calling ourselves "Mexicans", because we live in America, and therefore, should be calling ourselves "Americans". For some of us this may seem silly, but this is the way most Americans think.

In the same grounds, let's stop waving the Mexican flag. Again, this goes back to how symbolic the American population is. I have a feeling that if the marches of May 2005 had taken place using all American flags and with fewer "demands" and more "respectfull requests", the result would have been different. For most Americans, seeing a group of people march with a foreign flag is not a good thing (common sense).

We need to understand that Americans are not willing to accept a second culture within its own culture. Open minded Americans are willing to look at this country as a melting pot, but even most of them are not willing to accept an intruding culture taking over things. Most of them believe that a nation cannot thrive and live in peace having two separate cultures within itself.

We should strive to intergrate into society. This doesn't mean that we should not be proud of our heritage, but we should intergrate by doing simple things such as learning English and respecting all laws.

And last, but not least, we should participate in Politics. Even if it just means getting out and voting, this is what it is all about.

Since you're asking Mexicans, you're talking about making Mexico a stronger country, right? Because the US is none of your business.

If you want to make Mexico bigger and stronger, be America's friend. Right now, many of your people are coming the the US illegally and thumbing their nose at us. There is no natural reaction to this except anger and a desire to kick Mexican bu tt.

Respect our border and our right to make and keep our own laws, and you'll benefit more than you know. America is the richest and most generous nation on the planet. We are the best neighbor you could have.

Be here legally, learn the language , work to pay for your families upkeep, follow the law , assimilate and love the USA.
This will make the country stronger.
It's already big enough

How about this: Until you call it by it's real name, you have no say in this country. Matter of fact, go home and rebuild your own. Then we'll take a look at the job you do there. Then, if it has improved, and if you ask veeerrry nice and legally, maybe, only maybe, will we let you back in.

First of all, are you Mexican or American? Is okay to be proud of your heritage but if you live in America your loyalty should be to U.S.A. You can help America by telling Mexico to stop meddling in the affairs of the United States.
