It's not bad. I think you have a talent to draw but it is in the ruff.
Keep on practicing and you could get really good. I wish I could draw. Go for it
Do you have books on drawing, they can't hurt to look at and they could give you some good pointers. Finding your own style gives you your own finger print in art. Keep on a drawing :-)

I think it is a great start. She is cute.

If you want to get better at drawing start drawing real life images. Try to draw from pictures, magazines, and things in your room. It is good to look at something when you are drawing. The more you practice the better your hand and your eye are going to become.

Good for you! Keep it up.

This is a pretty decent line drawing...if you continue to draw daily and are serious about pursuing it even if for your own interest...I think you can do some incredible things. Check out some of the following tutorials:

http://www.dueysdrawings.com/drawing_tutorials.html

http://www.artshow.com/resources/drawing.html

http://www.howtodrawmanga.com/tutorial.html

http://www.mangarevolution.com/tutorials.php

http://www.huntfor.com/design/tutorials/drawing.htm (various tutorials on various sites)

Incredible realism is achievable with practice : http://www.jdhillberry.com/how_to_draw_pg2.htm

http://www.knowledgehound.com/topics/drawing.htm Lots of various tutorials how to draw animals, people etc.

Learn the gridding method (makes drawing of faces, images from photos especially more easy to do) http://homepages.tesco.net/~p.wilkinson/

and check out some books by various artists, one in particular, Lee Hammond, http://www.leehammond.com/books.htm This is her site...look around...if you order books directly from her, she'll autograph them for you :) I have almost everything she's done...very nice lady.

Check google or other search engines...how to draw tutorials etc. and you'll find tons and tons of information, how to's etc. You'll be drawing incredible things in no time with just an hour or so per day practice. Don't let the complexities of some of these sites throw you...start out where you are comfortable starting and go from there...don't get frustrated, annoyed or decide to quit if things don't come out great the first few times...that's a learning process and without making mistakes, we don't learn how to do things right. Practice is the best way to improve your abilities...everyone has the ability to draw...but not everyone has the interest in investing the time it takes to draw well. Hope you do.

Good luck...

It's pretty good for 13. Practice drawing eyes. They can be tricky.

TO: JRibby and JoshD - yeah, losers.

I think its cute!

But I would reccommend adding tonal and shading if you're going for a realism type.

If you're going for a cartoonish drawing it looks fine.

not to be harsh but step into an art college with that mess and they will slowly light your body on fire....and no its not cute cool nor creative at all...i can draw that while im in a vegetative state and comatose as well....sorry but maybe your hands should be ampuitated

I'm 13 too and I'm not trying to boast of anything but I think I can draw better than you.

You should have used more tone and smudging but if that is the effect your going for then its okay.

I know because I'm taking Art for my GSCEs

Hope i've helped
