Lol, Jimmy! Jordan cents... And in the future, NBA players who try to play baseball should be said to have "Jordan sense". I think that Birmingham is/was a double-A team. Jordan was indeed a great athlete... there are probably a few guys in the NBA who may have done better at baseball than Jordan did, but a whole lot more would have done a lot worse. Part of the reason (probably THE reason) that Jordan tried baseball during his unannounced suspension from the NBA is because his father thought that Michael would be a pro baseball player when he grew up.

Michael Jordan did play baseball, 127 games with the 1994 Birmingham Barons. They are a farm team for the Chicago White Sox.
He batted .202 with 3 HR's.

So if you want to be the greatest baseball player ever, I wouldn't look at Michael Jordan if I were you. I hope your dream comes true, but wish to be Babe Ruth or Ted Williams or Joe DiMaggio, players that were great baseball players.

Best of luck to you. Never give up your dream and work as hard as you can to accomplish it.

Work on getting a better eye for the ball. Here's a couple of drills to help your eye:

Get a thunder stick, it's a small circumference diameter bat and get some plastic golf balls. Have someone soft toss them to you.

Also take some regular baseballs and write numbers on them. Have someone pitch them to you. You should stand in the box and take the pitches, and just try to identify the numbers. This will help your eye follow the ball.

baseball was having "michael jordan of baseball"'s a long time before michale jordan was born, sorry but that spots been filled many times
if you work your butt off you may be able to be great, but baseball has had so many icons already, and will continue to
arod and bonds pretty well have that right now, they are so scary to face, the change the dynamic of any game

take steroids lol. but seriously swing the bat alot and weight train. also you dont have to be a good hitter to be great look at melky cabrera center fielder for the yankees he's mostly glove and a average hitter. you can make a good career out of fielding.
