Before it was WEP. I have the network key but it says it can't find a certificate. Help!

Your understanding of wireless is clearly very superficial.

You cannot connect to WPA or WEP. You connect to the router via a wireless unlicensed radio transmission.

WEP and WPA are encryption methods which make it more difficult for eavesdroppers to pick up the transmissions.

WEP is fairly insecure. WPA is more secure and it requires the preshared key to be set on the wireless access point and to be placed on the pc's wireless config. Matching preshared keys enable access (like password validation).

You need to review exactly what you put on your router for a preshare key. Match it on your wireless pc and you are in business.

You should not try to configure anything on a wireless access point using a wireless connection - use wired only.
