A few days after having your baby. When the baby is first born you have a substance called collostorum (sp??) and within a few days of birth your milk production begins.

It is normally about 3 days after giving birth up til then its colustrum. If your baby come early it can take longer. My daughter was 3 weeks early and it took a week for the milk to come in.

Technically, during the fourth or fifth month of pregnancy. But then you are only producing colostrum. The actual breast milk comes in two to five days after the baby's born.
