i'm right now in engineering in my first year. i had my first semester, but so far all i've seen is stress... even tho i will do my best just to get a good result in the end. however, i'm not exactly sure if this is the field i really want because my math and physics aren't that good at the moment... should i go into general studies and find out the area i really like or should i stay in engineering because general studies is too broad?

I don't know if you watch the news much, but our government seems to think we need to graduate more engineers. China is graduating engineers like crazy and we can't let them have our good jobs too can we?

Also, the math becomes less of an issue over time, as you develop a better understanding of it and gain more experience with it.

Whatever you choose, pay attention to the money side. Try to earn a degree in something you can make a living at.
