Calcium hydroxide is corrosive and will dissolve skin tissue on prolonged contact.
If it gets into contact with the eyes, immediate eye wash with copious amounts of water should be done as it will dissolve the eye tissue.
If the powder is inhaled or ingested, it is likely to dissolve the soft linings as it "goes down". Seek IMMEDIATE medical attention.

It is a bit caustic so you don't really want to touch it. It is usually a light fine powder so you really don't want that dust to get in your lungs.
