I was wondering if my wireless router could be put in repeater or bridge mode

Well, based on the manual, you can turn off NAT which will basically put you in a bridge mode to the wan port. There is no mention of repeating mode so it probably doesn't support it with the basic firmware.

You may be able to run dd-wrt firmware on this one. Check with http://dd-wrt.com/dd-wrtv2/index.php
to see if it is supported. If so you get alot of features that are not in the linksys firmware like bridge mode an repeat mode and hot spot controller etc.
I just checked and if you have v1.0 it will work with dd-wrt

Might be a nice upgrade if you own a version 1.0 unit.
