Unfortunately the Dallas Cowboys have the largest national fan base in the NFL. Why else would they be known as "America's Team"?
What are you talking about Galbraith H? I am from Michigan, a Midwestern state, and I go for the Detroit Lions. I think most people in the Midwest go for the Green Bay Packers because they can connect with the small-town feel that Green Bay has.

Its kinda hard to answer that Because you have a lot of bandwagon fans but Cowboys have to be up there thats one of the main reasons they are americas team. If you watch the old NFL films from the 60's those teams probly have a bigger fan base because they have been around longer. Steelers Raiders Green Bay

I would say the patriots cause 6 states are in the region but I see alot of cowboy fans walking around, alot of oakland jerseys being worn too

Definitely the Cowboys. Not only were they the team w/the most fans in ESPN's poll, Forbes also named them as the wealthiest/most successful sports organization.

Cowboys. ESPN ran a poll a couple of months back where they just asked who's your favorite team, irregardless of sport. Cowboys were 1 Yankees were 2.

The Cowboys just look at these broadcast maps, look how many local markets they are being broad casted in compared to other teams. They also have some of the highest rated games along with the most nationally televised games over any franchise.
