You see someone you like the looks of and/or think you recognise from somewhere, and you are DYING to stare and check them out, but everytime you glance over at them, they catch you doing it??? This seems to happen to me a lot.

Yes! This has happened to me, and since I don't see well in dimmed 'establishments', but absolutely KNOW I know the person, it drives me nuts. It's really embarassing if it's someone from the opposite sex. You feel like they think you are comming-on to them even though you aren't, and they think you might be. Twice I just got up and walked over and said, "I'm sorry if I seem to be staring, but you honestly look familiar to me.". Of course this is a LOT easier if you're a girl. I do not mean to sound sexist, but YOU know what I mean. Good Luck!

Oh, it's not terrible at all. I let them catch me staring - leads to more looks. Then, I can either recognize them and say something or improve someone's moment by smiling/flirting.
