I've been in a couple of talent shows and I was wondering if I could add it to my resume because if I can I would have more to put on my resume.

Thanks!

The show was preformed like 3 or 4 times and it was showed to the whole school which was like 500 students or more plus the parents that came at night so I guess I can put it on right?

Like Tina said, you can put it on you just replace things like that as you get better credits.

You also need to word it nicely. Was there a competition? Can you perhaps list it as a Talent Competition instead of a show? Was it held in a nicer venue rather than the school cafeteria? Is your auditorium named well, use that instead of Public School 34, know what I mean? Was it televised on a local cable network? There are creative ways to make 'small' credits seem a bit more important until you can replace them with something more substantial. That said, you never lie. When asked always be truthfull about what it is but never apologize for listing it the way that you did so long as it's the truth. Saying it was aired on a certain network or held at a certain venue should never be a lie.

Look up actor resume examples and follow guidelines as to how to list items and try to make things fit. Also, you only list the show once. You don't list it once for each time you performed.

good luck,
Marianne

My agent told me to put everything I've done on my resume. As I started adding professional work, I gradually replaced the "lesser" experience with the professional things.

They just need to know what kind of experience you have performing as well as how "passionate" you are about the business.

No. till your resume is actual empty, then there's no longer lots element in putting it. you may desire to place which you have had journey on a smaller point, yet its no longer quite going that can assist you you, so i wouldnt placed it. A resume ought to in uncomplicated terms incorporate proper journey, guidance, appearing communities and classes which you have had. and flicks, performs, and different performances you have been in.

Depends on what you did, how you did, and especially the venue. What audience, how large. Mostly this would demonstrate ability to perform in front of an audience.

It depends. You should if your resumae isn't very big. It was experience, so it works.
