The answer will depend on a multitude of factors, not the least of is your general overall health.

Your doctor will discuss this with you during your first visits, once he has the results of the tests they will run at the first visit.

Don't forget to get your rest, take your vitamins, and avoid stress.

Every 4 weeks to start. If there are complications or if you are high-risk, you could be asked to come in every 2 weeks instead.

My first OB wanted to see me every week after 37 weeks and my current OB wanted to see me every other week after 32 weeks and has wanted to see me every week for the past 2 weeks (I'm 38 1/2 weeks now).

On top of that, you have ultrasounds and bloodwork that most OBs don't do in-house. You can expect to be doing something medical at least once every 2 weeks, especially in the first and last trimester.

Every 4 weeks from about 20 weeks and then every week from 36 weeks. Unless you have blood pressure or something to be monitored and then it will be more often.

The best way is ask you Dr when he wants to see you next at each appointment and book yourself in on the way out.

Before 20 weeks, go when you feel you need to. If you have any questions or worries. Otherwise you'll be fine and ask about follow up appointments at your 20week scan.

There are a lot of websites where you can get more information than I can give, but I'll tell you what I know. You go once a month till you reach your 8th month, then you go every other week till you reach your 9th, and then you go every week. You won't get vaginal exams except on your first appointment, unless you have other issues, and in the last weeks when they are checking your cervix for dilation and effacement.

It varies with every doctor. My schedule is once every 4 weeks until about 32 weeks, then it's every two weeks and as the due date gets closer, it's every week. It also depends on if you are considered high risk or develop any problems, you would be seen a lot more. Good Luck and Congrats!

you have once every month, until you reach 28 wks, then you have them 2 times a month, and when you reach 36 wks you have one every week. So all in all I would say you would end up going to see your doctor 13-14 times, but that doesn't include the times when you have to go see them because you are sick, or something is wrong. Good luck and congratulations.

once a month until your third trimester, then it is every other week, and finally every week. If they deem it a high risk pregnancy it is usually every other week in the second trimester.

You will go once an month until about 36 weeks unless you are high risk. After that, you'll go once a week. At least that's how my doc does it.
