I have run smack dab into the end of the door and talk about painful!!!! It left a thinking in my breast and one time the Dr. thought I needed surgery for cancer. I said I would be dead by now if it was cancer that has been there for years.

Not a pole but the corner of a cupboard door, yup did a matrix lean back, then came back up , looked at everyone and then i cracked up laughing and carried on, i laughed because it was funny, ok the next morning it wasnt so funny, ouch i was sore for days LOL :)

Yes . i was backing up from paying our home insurance guy, & didnt not see the telephone pole. It went "Boom".
The pole was damaged a wee bit, my i was in a 87 Fleetwood Braughm, it was not hurt a bit.
the pole was painted yellow by the way, so nut-jobs could see it........

i saw a friend temporarily paralyzed when he went straight into a pole. there was no dab about it, more like a... dam!!!!
