If one could afford it, would you prefer a night "out" for dinner, dancing, or a movie, OR would you prefer a night "in" with your significant other, sipping cocktails and munching on pizza while watching your favorite movie ?

I prefer wearing a dress/heels and going out to a nice Italian restaurant, then a romantic comedy or even a live theater production, then weather permitting a moonlight stroll along the boardwalk to talk.

If I had a significant other-I would prefer pizza, movie and Pepsi (don't drink alcohol). I am a homebody. But a night out would be good too. When I was married we went out at least once a week. Not always dinner-sometimes just a drive and an ice cream cone. Then the other weekend night we would do pizza and a movie. We ordered pizza weekly from the same place for over 25 years. Hardly ever missed a week!

It depends on my mood. The early east coast scene maybe has more depth, a lot of art in the scene as well as guitars, but really I can only think of the early east coast bands I like. I mean the New York crowd was great, Ramones, Voidoids, Dictators, Blondie, Television, Talking Heads, Modern Lovers, The Heartbreakers, New York Dolls, The Velvet Underground, Dead Boys etc. all had something new and interesting to offer, but at the same time I also save much love for The Angry Samoans, the Germs, The Avengers, Crime, Black Flag, X, The Weirdos, The Zeros, the Dickies, Dead Kennedys, but then the west coast continued to deliver quality tunes into the 80's and 90's with the Descedents, Agent Orange, Circle Jerks, Bad Religion, Green Day, Operation Ivy, Rancid, Pennywise, NOFX, Social Distortion and countless other bands whereas the east seems to have petered out with only a few really notable contributions every once in awhile. And as maligned as much of the California punk crew are, they really can turn out a tune and have consistently proved they can mash loudfast guitar punk with the three minute pop song as well as anywhere else in the world. So honestly, I'm going to have to go with the west coast. Even though the Ramones are my favorite band, California has given us so many catchy, punky, poppy, thrashy bands and songs so consistently through the decades they deserve it in my opinion.

I like staying in and watching a movie while enjoying pizza. Sometimes I like to dance too. I like the local country music dance places that are family oriented. We can do a little two step, waltz, line dance or slow dance.

We like to do a movie and dinner. Sometimes even fit in a bit of shopping before the movie. Out big nite out once or twice a month. But it works for us.

I have become such a homebody that I would actually force my self to a night out for a romantic dinner and some dancing later, if I could stay awake that late. LOL

I like to get dressed up, in a nice new dress, shoes with heels and matching purse, gold accessories and then go out to dinner at a fabulous restaurant, and then fully sated go on to a night club for some dancing! You did say "If one could afford it . . . . . . " - so why limit oneself to just dinner or, . . . . . . . . . . . ? I want it all! Yay! CJ

Night "in" but I can't drink so I'll have to settle for pop and pizza while watching a movie.
