Tell me you are not still stuck in the coffee shop!

It sounds like transmission trouble to me hun! Or it could be the timing belt. That happened to me a long time ago and that's what it was. So check the timing belt, it may be worn.

I fully understand. Last weekend my hubby had to put a fuel pump in my daughters car. Well, to make a long story short he needed to know what some codes meant that the machine read off from the car. I got on yahoo answers and asked. I had the answer and on my way to solving the problem in no time. Had to get back on to ask another question while they was installing the fuel pump. Took the advise, and my daughter's car is running like a dream. Thank Goodness for yahoo answers and questions. LOL! Just thought I would share this with you. I hope you get help soon. I'm sorry. :)

sister check the transmission fluid level before you do anything else

if that does not solve the problem you are going to have to have someone look at it, if you are paying for a tow then ask yourself do you really know someone who is going to look at your car and help, or are you doing wishful thinking and if you are going to pay for a tow, tow it to a shop and have it get looked at by someone who is going to help. Its a drag and I am sorry that happened. I am sending you good car karma through the air waves and I hope it is a simple fix

Stand by your car and make believe you are crying. I did that once, and got towed for free, and even got my car fixed for a 12 pack of beer!!

One of my sons works for Buick, but he's up in Phoenix today...I don't think he'd be able to get to your car on time.

I think that Johnny Trash's idea of calling you a cab might have to work for today...until the guys can get over and fix your car. :)

Get a Mexican to fix your car for 5 bucks an hour.

No offense to Mexicans, of course =)

psh...I call my father-in-law! LOL if I call my husband he won't get there till it's too late and someone has fixed it worse than it was before (namely me) lol anyways my father-in-law either brings me his truck or he finds a way to get my car moving. Sometimes it;s as simple as gas! (imagine that)
