Animal is just a classification of a living, breathing, walking around creature.
Yes, humans are also animals, though some deny it because they don't like being compared to a "inferior" species.

Quote: "Mammals (class Mammalia) are warm-blooded, vertebrate animals characterized by the presence of sweat glands, including milk producing sweat glands, and by the presence of: hair, three middle ear bones used in hearing, and a neocortex region in the brain. Most mammals also possess specialized teeth and utilize a placenta in the ontogeny. The mammalian brain regulates endothermic and circulatory systems, including a four-chambered heart. Mammals encompass approximately 5,400 species (including humans), distributed in about 1,200 genera, 153 families, and 29 orders,[1] though this varies by classification scheme."
So yes. If you are not a plant or inanimate, you are an animal. But it is a matter of diction here.
If you mean are we better or worse than other animals: name me another animal that lies. What other animal makes excuses for its 'god-given' instincts? How many other animals willingly and knowingly destroy their own environment? Even a dog knows not to crap in it's own bed. How many other species subjugate other species for their use? Of course, these questions do not apply to every individual and are meant as generalities.

Yes, we eat just like an animal, we reproduce like an animal, we bleed when we get cut like an animal. Theres no denying we are an animal, just because we have a higher level of thinking doesn't make us any better then any other creature.

We are mammals...mammals are considered animals. Supposedly we are the highest species of mammals...who knows whether or not that is true?
Why have rodents and insects outlived all sorts of prior mammals?
On another note, some human beings truly act like unsophisticated animals...I'd really like to know what that is all about???

Yup, we came from animals, so we're therfore animals. But how did we become so advanced...enough to dominate the planet? Was it some higher being's will or just chance. There's a question...I think I'll post it... :)

"I teach you the overman. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him?
All beings so far have created something beyond themselves; and do you want to be the ebb of this great flood and even go back to the beasts rather than overcome man? What is the ape to man? A laughingstock or a painful embarrassment. And man shall be just that for the overman: a laughingstock or a painful embarrassment..."

We display all the necessary "differentia" to be classed as animals. We also have the one telling difference of being sapient, which puts us at the top of the animal chain.

Extraterrestrials (GODS) prepared the earth for men
monkeys(select group) were chosen and suffered a genetic transformation.
it was like a piece of god inside their minds.
they started to think, to imagine, to look world very, very different, they weren't animals anymore, they were men.
the rest of the history you know... men are what they are thanks to bioeffects and climate conditions.
but some were taken to america not by the way the historians say, they came to america by flying saucers
interferences of our gods happened and still happens
if we don't have a world plenty of dignity it's because gods don't have a stock of them to supply earth.
some of the spirits here came from other planets
they were sent way for their crimes, irrecuperable criminals, but with a large brain in their spiritual baggage able to teach native souls from the earth.
this is it
we are animals and we are not

Yup. I put my genes on one egg at a time just like all the rest of us mammals. (In fact I even share genetic material with fish and even trees and plants - and so do you)
