I have my system on at times for 3 or 4 hrs. I hate to have to click ok on the box that says "This computer is in use & has been locked". Is there any way to delete that box?

It's most likely your screensaver setting unless you are using a work computer in which case it may be set via group policy.

I would suggest you not remove it completely as it is a good security feature to deter someone from sitting down at your computer while you are in the bathroom...

You may want to lengthen the period at which it kicks off if it is coming on too quickly.

Good Luck

If you want, you can get into your control panel and try to alter settings in either of two places:

Start >> Control Panel >> Power Settings

Start >> Control Panel >> Display >> ScreenSaver

The settings for one of those two places is causing the effect you describe.

You cannot actually delete that box. If you do, you'll never talk to Windows again - because it is implemented in the guts of Windows. If that goes away, Windows will sense that it is broken and will not want to boot up.
