Being with the one you love in a quiet setting on a pristine lakefront with a wonderful view of fireworks in the distance, drinking wine and making love by the bonfire under the stars.....; )

My new years eves have been pretty much the same for the past several years: stay at home and go to bed around the normal time. We always say we want to toast with a bottle of port (we don't like champagne), but inevitably, we don't make it till midnight.

Going to a remote place - away from all the hullabaloo...
Like maybe staying at Lake Hotel in Yellowstone National Park... climbing up the hill in the snow and counting all the stars...
Or maybe John Hughes Lloyd Beach in Dania Florida and getting naked to swim in the ocean...

hmmm...really it is difficult to answer this question. I'm no expert in being romantic nor in New Year's Eve. I guess make it as any other romantic day. Put slow music, candles, wine.
