I would never wash any type of feather material. I tried it once and ruined mine. I would take them to a dry cleaners, or use Dreyel at home.

Take them to the laundrymat and use a large front loader. Wash in warm water. Dry in a large dryer, on perm press, with a pair of clean sneakers. Dry until you cannot feel ANY moisture in them. This may take 40-80 minutes. If they're not completely dry they will mold and smell.

You can wash them in the washing machine, just use the delicate cycle and warm water and a mild soap or even woolite. After the spin cycle you can put them in the dryer and using the less heat and air dry cycle turn it on. You should be all set, and the pillows will be fine. If they are really large ones, you may want to do one at a time.
