I want to erase my HD and make the computer like brand new. Does anyone know how I can do that without the disk? I have a windows xp home.

i've tried deleting the partition and reinstalling it but it wouldn't let me delete the main partition (the 1 with the most memory)

If you don't have a new operating system to replace your existing one, you will end-up without a working computer.
If you want to upgrade, either buy what you need,
or just get a new computer, like everyone else does! ;)

very simple you first format it in A drive and make the partition then reload the windows XP it will erase all your contents
