I would just like to address the cruise missile comments thank you. What the senator from oklahoma was referring to was that bill clinton being so worried about his crappy presidential legacy was too cowardly to send troops into afghanistan so he went about wasting our cruise missiles of which we have a limited amount, are very expensive, and are one of our best nuclear deterrants against russia and china. Clinton was using far too many cruise missiles all through out his two terms as president he was also draining the strategic oil reserve to keep gas prices a few cents lower which is a cheap way to increase his popularity in the polls but the those reserves are kept for a reason that reason being to make sure we never have another gas crisis like we did in the 70's. That being said I saw your profile and I think that obama seems like a good person and would make a good president but it wont be long before clinton and edwards stab him in the back they probaly will join forces against him. I think rudy guliani is a good guy also so maybe he or obama will win the next election and we can have a change from bush/clintons in the white house.

They trust Bush and Fox News the same way that you trust CNN and the Liberal Media...
BOTH sides know that Fox is the Republican Propaganda Machine and that most of the rest of the media is the Liberal Propaganda Machine.
I have been lied to by BOTH SIDES so now I believe nothing that EITHER SIDE tells me...
I watch Fox News for THEIR special spin on a topic...
THEN
I watch CNN and MSNBC for THEIR special spin on a topic...
THEN
I sit down, think about what I heard from BOTH SIDES and try to pull the TRUTH from the mess.
I can't believe that in this day and age of instantaneous information ANYONE can believe that "Their" side tells them the truth when you can go anywhere and find out that there are ALWAYS two, three, or four + sides to ANY story...
I'm also can't believe that the brainwashed Lib's continue to believe that "Their" side is telling them anything closer to the truth then what the Conservatives are being fed by Fox!
Don't you all realize that BOTH sides are trying to manipulate you to think "Their" way... Which they consider to be the "Right" way??
ANYONE that automatically assumes that EVERYTHING on Fox News is a lie and EVERYTHING on THEIR News is the truth has been even more brainwashed then those they are against!!
EVERYONE IS TRYING TO BRAINWASH YOU!!!
It is only when you REALIZE the extent of the manipulation that you can stop believing the crap they are feeding you and you can finally begin to :
THINK
FOR
YOURSELF!

every election brings out the best in politicans. follow what they do after being elected. any member of congress running for any office should have to answer the questions of have you sponsored or co-sponsored a bill to pay back the social security trust fund plus interest? what a way to start securing the social security system. have you done anything to stop earmarks? what a way to start moving in the direction of a balanced budget. have you done anything to move the nation off foreign oil? if every car the government has was replaced ,when due for replacement, with electric or hybrid cars what a start toward energy independence.
we do not need people that have been in the law making body of the government for years and has done nothing to get these goals meat, except use them as election speach material. be it dems or repubs everyone should have to answer these questions ,and if the answer is not working every day to get these goals met, they should be re-deployed home. these people are elected to the united states house or senate and should do what is in the best interest of the united states not their home state or district so they can get elected again. if that is what they want go to the state legislature.

Looks like another case of "Bush Derangement Syndrome". Here is a news flash that you should have seen on MSNBC or CNN......Bush isn't running in 2008. So get over it.
I am wondering why you are so sure that a democrat will win the White House in '08. Looking at the field of candidates you keep nominating, Gore, Kerry, now possibly HRC or Obama, neither with the experience necessary to run the country.

Republicans still trust Bush and Fox News because they have a large propaganda machine to tell them that any inaccuracies are still better than the outright fallacies of liberals, CNN, and NBC. Buzz phrases like "Driveby Media" and the "Secular Progressive Agenda" spouted by conservative talk radio reinforce those beliefs.

We trust them because we are intelligent, informed, and perceptive. Those who insist that they are not to be trusted are lacking in those qualities.
