As "ning-non" said, all it takes is someone reporting you to get a violation notice. For a while "someone" was reporting every one of my answers. It really sucked. One question was, "what or who do you report on P&S?" I answered, "I don't." and that was reported and I got a violation. So the Y!A nazis don't read anything, they just send a violation notice to whomever gets reported. I guess this makes their job easier.
I am sorry this happened to you. It does suck.

It doesn't happen to me, but it probably happens because somebody reported you for violating the community guidelines. If you didn't violate them, then you should appeal the violation, unless you want the reporter trolls to gain status as a "top reporter."
