Jesus gave his life for mankind because he was "fond of the sons of men," (Proverbs 8:30) and made it possible for us to have perfect life in the future, either in heaven or on a Paradise earth. And that sacrifice makes it possible to reverse all of the suffering that man has experienced through no fault of his own.
