why do my periods only last 2 days... at the most 3 days. Bizarre! its been this way for a long time and I am NOT on birth control. It used to be 4 days and it keeps getting shorter and shorter. I am only 23 y/o.
Prob not but could it effect me getting pregnant?

You still within the average. A normal period lasts 2-7 days and can run 21-28 days between.
I don't think you have anything to worry about. As long as this is not something new and you are not experiencing any additional problems.
If it goes to 1 day or is really erratic, then it is time to make an appointment with your gynechologist. Let him/her check your hormone levels to make sure everything is ok.
Now you are the envy of most women..a period 2 days a month----I've put up 5 days a week since I was 11 1/2!

I would love if mine only lasted 2 days. Mine are usually 5-7. I would check with your Dr. though that sounds a little strange.

Your Estrogen level may be to high and may need to check with a doctor and get a supplement to correct your levels. Also are you having more cramping than normal?

Hot dam girl...be thankful!!! You are one of the lucky ones. If you aren't having any problems because of it be thankful. It should not affect your ability to get pregnant

I dont think there is anything to worry about. Just make an appointment with your doctor, and talk to him/her about it. They will be able to answer any questions you have

you've been given good advice already. but i agree, 2 days is not abnormal. you're just lucky. but always check with your doctor when you have questions.

it wouldnt hurt to see an OB GYN. yes, It could mean you cant have babys.
