ok a friend of mine is 9 weeks pregnant and she has had the worst case of pregnancy symptoms worse then the other 2 pregnancies she has had before and she went to the hospital because of a horrible headache and the dr felt her stomach and he could feel the top of her fundus (womb, cervix what ever you want to call it) already which is medically impossible untill your over 12 weeks.
she has very heavy periods so i don't think she is farther along then she is plus the emotions started about a week after conception so can anyone tell me what it felt like to carry twins????
she is going to go for an ultrasound to see but in the mean time i would like to tell her something

opps i didn't mean cervix i meant UTERUS sorry and the only way to feel a womans uterus when she isn't pregnant is to be doing a vag exam at the same time then they can feel your fallopian tubes and everything.
the dr from what she told me only did an external feel of her stomach and the top of her fundus could be felt about an inch to two inches over her pubic bone

I would have to say that having twins is definitely double the morning sickness and all through out the day sickness! It is horrible. You progress a lot more quickly than a single pregnancy. At 3 months pregnant I looked like I was 5 months along. You show a lot sooner than a single pregnancy.

Every pregnancy can be different from the others. It does not matter what the other two were like. Estimations of the length of pregnancy based on fundal height or date of last period are used as general guidelines. There are even variations with ultrasound results. The fundus is the top (toward the woman's head) of the uterus (womb). The cervix is the connection between the uterus and vagina. By the way, a nonpregnant uterus can be felt through the abdomen.

Well, with my 3rd pregnancy I went to the ER for severe morning sickness, I am I would not be able to keep a thing down, it felt more like the flu than a pregnancy and I was already showing with only 9 weeks. I had a sono in the ER but they didn't say anything about twins. I saw my doctor like a week after and he confirmed twin pregnancy and told me to expect the worst morning sickness ever been two babies and all.
