I have absolutely no tolerance for a Republican.....period.

They should just change the name of their party to "THE CORPORATE INTERESTS PARTY"

Religion should play no role in the choosing of a President. We need to vote the issues and unless the Religion of a candidate is an issue (which it shouldn't be in a Republic) it shouldn't play a part.

Unfortunately we have people like the first person to answer who is a great example of the extreme of both political parties. When you blindly march the party line you show yourself to be nothing but a mindless drone no matter which party you belong to.

I don't think it's so much a matter of religious tolerance as it is a matter of values -- whether a candidate holds values that you agree with or disagree with. If a candidate devoutly believed in values that I considered to be contrary to the ideals of the nation (whether those values are due to religion or political ideology or other source), I would not vote for that person.

I would be hard pressed to vote for anyone who expressed comfort like Romney's about the encroachment of religion into the insitutions of government and who positions secular thought as a problem that needs to be overcome.

A Morman yes, a Muslim no. We are at war with a part of the Muslim community. Call me a racist but that kinda affects how I look at Muslims in general.

Religious tolerance is an absurd notion.

How is it that people find it perfectly acceptable to to judge someone based on their views about society, economics, politics, etc, yet somehow the views that one holds based on religion are beyond scrutiny? Absurd.

The religious views of any candidate should be examined.

yes i do for either ones religion , but not either ones policy's,

Ron Paul's the one I'm voting for , I'm a Mormon , but I'm willing to vote for a baptist. so i guess i do have some tolerance

A Mormon, yes, Romney, no. Muslim? I'd have to listen to his/her views. Hey neither could possibly worse than what we have now, and religion or lack thereof really nothing to do with it. Who will do the best job possible does.

The person's religious denomination is irrelevant to me. I concern myself with the issues.
So, yes, I do have enough tolerance and acceptance.

Yes.

I don't have tolerance for someone who supports a war and has five sons, none of which are actually fighting in that war. If he wants Americans to sacrifice their children for it, why not start with his wealth of sons?
