which is more meaniful to keep in touch with a mailed letter or email messages? Have any of you sent mailed letters to your wife or husband before you were married? How do you make them special?

Oh boy here we go! Keep in mind I am definitely old fashioned. Okay a letter is always more meaningful to me. Just putting the words down on the paper with a decent pen, not a Bic from Staples is meaningful and just shows the other person that you think enough of them to go the extra mile to write it, put in in an envelope, address the envelope and go out and buy a stamp just so they can send you a message is definitely meaningful to me. I 'WROTE' letters to my future wife at least three time a week before I married her and my pen of choice was a fountain pen. We have been married for almost 36 years. She still has the letters and on those occasions when I pull out my old foot locker and trip down memory lane her letters to me are on the top of the box when I open it. To me a hand written letter is more personal than an e-mail. How long do you keep e-mails before you delete them? Well I hope that answers your question, what do you think?
