The reality currently is military men/women/and the folks there on contract, are being charged for murder during this Iraq war. It matters not to me where they are when the 'murder' occurs someone apparently has to pay. I have been watching the tv program '24' long before the Iraq war (and have been alive thru a few others-none of which were imprisoned for murder without evidence). Whoever the writers are they have some experience in reality. In the episode where Jack Bauer had to cut off a man's head to infiltrate an organzation plotting to do unspeakable things-he even became an addict. I saw Hamburger Hill, Rocky (in which one man was being tracked to the death by a sheriff, who was sorely fooled) we have men who are trained to do these things but never tell. I don't condone murdering your pregnant wife because she has become an encumberance or conspiring with a school boy to kill your husband for money. War is ugly and bloody and this world is not the one I was born in.

The difference between t.v. and real life; is that the rating systems just do not coincide. Violence is not really a form of entertainment, as for persons who have high stress level jobs--have to wonder if they prefer dramas.
