i got up this morning and three of my electrical outlets are not working, one is outside and the other two are indoors, i am guessing they are on the same circuit cause thet are close to each other, but there is no breaker flipped...we do have a big inflatable snowman in our yard with an extension cord run to it and when i went to see why the snowman wasn't working the plug in to where it plugs in to the extension cord was under water, we had a big rain last night, could this be the problem? what happened? but like i said before no breakers are flipped

Let's hope that the GFCI breaker did its job. Look at the outlet that you had the extension plugged into to see if it has a GFCI. If so, there should be a test and reset button. push the reset button and see if the lights go on. If no GFCI in this one I would check inside or at the panei for a GFCI breaker I would get a larger cord, maybe a little better than the one you have and keep it dry

The outdoor display has truipped a GFCI circuit,,,,,the rest is in one of two places.

First take another look at your breaker box, a GFCI breaker has a white reset button on it in addition to the normal lever.

IF its not in your breaker box, walk around your home until you locate an outlet that has buttuns on its face, youll find on button marked reset.

yep , water and elect don,t mix, unplug the ext cord
check each breaker by pushing it to the middle, if it feels spongy reset it, some will trip and the handle won,t move much, plug a lamp into the outlet indoors, turn it on before reseting breakers, when you get the right one the lamp will come on
