Time yourself and multitask. + LOUD MUSIC.
First, put laundry in. After that, go wash the dishes (cuz i HATE when dishes pile up). Finish cleaning the rest of the kitchen. Then, clean the living room and your sister's room. Lastly, vacuum the entire house. Pick up anything you see around.
Have like goals...try getting the kitchen and living room done in an hour. Try playing games like "let's see how much I can pick up around the house in 15 mins or by the time this song ends."
What helps me a lot, is to think of how the clean the house will be after i get everything done. Then I can just throw myself on the couch and relax!

1. Gather all laundry from each room and then get the washing machine going. The laundry will take care of itself until completed, inc. drying time.
2. Personally, I would do the bathroom & kitchen next as they are the rooms that most people use.
Do you have a dishwasher? If not, let the dishes soak in hot soapy water while you tidy up the rest of the kitchen, drain that water and then wash & air dry dishes. Put dishes away later. I used to do that. Put away pots & pans.
3. The hallway is a high traffic area. Do last.
4. How old is your sister? Is she old enough to do her own room? Is the room visible to company? If not, do last.
5. Put on some up-beat music and get in the 'groove" of things and you'll surprise yourself.
Things always looks worse than what they really are.
Let me know how you accomplished your day doing all of this.

What I do is gather things up first and deal with smaller messes at a time. First gather all your dirty laundry. Strip a bed if those sheets need washing, or make a bed if the sheets are clean, so you have a place to dump clean laundry as it gets done. Don't forget to keep checking it.
Then gather dishes. Start a sinkful soaking in pure hot water so you can leave it for a while, or start a load in the dishwasher. Return to that later.
Gather your obvious trash and recycling, old newspapers, etc, food wrappers, etc. Take it out. Replace the garbage bag because you probably aren't done with it.
Remember to keep checking your laundry. Probably time to start a new load and get the dryer going.
Return to your dishes and finish them if you can.
Go into one bathroom at a time, about 20 minutes before you plan to actually clean it. Remove things from surfaces and spray everything down with compatible cleaning products, put toilet cleaner in the bowl, and then leave the room for a while, with the fan ON. This will allow products to work so all you really have to do is come back later and wipe things down, replace items on the counters, and wipe the floor.
Now you can deal with things in each room that do not belong in that room. One room at a time, gather those things, and redistribute them to the right places. Then repeat for each room, until everything is in the right room. Then start fine tuning putting items in the way, for each room. Then do your dusting, wiping surfaces, bed making, pillow fluffing, etc. Finish each room by doing the floor which catches all the dust etc when you clean the other stuff.
Don't forget your laundry. As each load comes out of the dryer, sort it by person, and then hang or fold. You can lay everything flat faster than it takes to hang and fold everthing. Towels and socks/undies can go in a pile to deal with all at once at the end. Then fold and hang, mate up socks, and put everything away. If you washed sheets, put them on the bed.
Take out the last of the trash, spray a bunch of Febreze around or light a candle, and relax in your clean house.

Let your sister clean her own room. I assume she's a big enough girl to do that.
Start a load of laundry. If it won't present a problem with your water pressure, stack your dishes and wash them.
Continue doing your other chores between tending the laundry.
After that, do the chores as they need to be done instead of letting them pile up: It's a great deal less scary and time-consuming. This is coming from someone who doesn't like doing chores, by the way! ;-)

Here's an idea hire a maid service, chip in with the sister, it'll be done in 3 hours, and you don't have to do a thing and stress out over cleaning and stuff.

Well first, get off the computer (no offense). Work on one room at a time, it seems to work for me. I like to have music while I clean, it makes time go by faster.
