The Israeli government is mad because the NIE didn't match with their agenda. Now most people don't think of Israelis as terrorists, but they invented modern day terror as we know it. Google "terrorism, Zionism" if you don't believe me

They have used terror in the past against the Paletinians and the British.

Also Zbigniew Brzezinski of the Council On Foreign Relations, warned in May in front of the Senate Foreign relations committee that the US could stage terror to kick start this war with Iran (source) -

Aboslutely. Remember when Sharon went to a sacred mosque with his armed posse to arouse a reaction so that he could wreak havoc on the Palestinians? It worked and that grand standing and well placed provocation was the begiing of his reign of terror and the start of another long cycle of violence.

Many people obviously haven;t had any real source of news to know what Israel has done, is doing and is capable of doing. People owe it t othemselves to get educated so that the next time they're sending half their paycheck for taxes, they know who they're supporting, cause it sure as heck isn't the United States of America... The American people don't have a good lobby. We should hire AIPAC's PR firm so maybe our public servants might someday actually serve us and not a foreign counrty who's all mighty lobby group got them elected and bought their loyalty. Both parties have been bought and paid for. There are very few candidates who aren't on their payroll.

well, I'm Iranian from iran myself.We do know that israel has taken the land of palestinians by force and it were not for the U.S suppors of injustice, it'd have been kicked out of there long ago.Anyways, here's what I think.Iran will go to war with no one cos it's a peacful country and Israel is well awar of Iran's power, so forget about war.I'd rather make it up with israel cos what has been done and past, has been done and past.Although, it's injustice, but the fact is that Israel is now a recognised country (thanks to the bullies supporting it).I say let's be friends.Friends good, enemies bad.BTW, man don't worry.A war with Iran will never happen cos if it does, the 3th world war will begin.I guess world leaders don't want to bring about the 3th world war, but I heard Bush saying things about starting it before, fortunately he too has taken back his words, so there are no worries.Relax! : )

The tone of your question belies your liberal roots. They aren't "mad" at the NIE, they aren't even bound by it. They don't agree with it and given the tactical and strategic situation they are in, they have every right to be skittish about such pronouncements.

If there is to be a war with Iran, and one can hardly think otherwise given the rhetoric from all countries, the US will not be dragged into it, the US will LEAD.

After all, Iran openly admits to supporting two terrorist organizations.
